What I did with a men’s shirt

I’ll be teaching a beginner’s sewing class at Scadding Court tomorrow.The idea is to have fun with recycling and learn to sew at the same time.
Recycling shirts can be addictive. It’s fun to come up with new ideas using parts of a men’s dress shirt. It’s also so easy.
My intention is to discover as many ways to recycle a shirt as possible, using parts of the shirts together with bits and pieces from my stash.
These shoe bags and dress I made from shirt that had a nasty tear. I also had some ribbon and binding which just happened to match. I still have some scraps left which I’m sure I’ll use again sometime.
