This pattern uses worsted weight yarn. The thicker yarn makes this project go quite quickly simply use this pattern as a weekend project to clear some of your yarn stash.

It can be knitted as is or used as a canvas for picture knitting. Use up your scraps of yarn or knit it with self patterning yarn.

This is a machine knitting pattern but can be adapted for hand knitting by knitting a test square using 5mm needles and worsted weight yarn.

Skills required:

Cast on, , Bind off, transfer, decrease, buttonholes, hand manipulate stitches, short row shaping.

This project was knitted on a LK150 using Double Knitting 100% acrylic. Any Mid gauge knitting machine can be used but be sure to check the gauge before you begin.

Note:- When using hand knitting yarn the LK150 to test for the tension, the yellow ruler may not correspond for the row number. You will get a more accurate measurement when using a tension square for testing. For the yarn used during the testing of this pattern the most accurate was stitch dial 7.
