Saving My Fairly New Shirt with a Stencil

I recently bought this shirt.  Unfortunately, after a few washes, I noticed a stain and was unable to get rid of it.  I continued to wear because it didn’t seem too obvious.
Then one day I realised that I had washed it without removing a red paper napkin from the pocket. After several attempts, I was unsuccessful at removing it.
Not being ready to part with it yet, I had to find another solution.
So with the help of technology, I designed this stencil. I used vector software which made it so much easier to get the exact size required as well a good image.
I just love using freezer paper. For single application stencilling, the freezer paper technique is amazing.
The image was printed directly onto freezer paper and cut out using an exacto knife.

I chose to use paint sticks for this project and decided to go with one colour.
All of the stain is not quite covered but appears to be less obvious. I can once again wear the shirt.
I’ll save the rest of the cut out freezer paper for another project.
