I offered to knit a scarf for my friend. It took a bit longer to knit than I planned but am happy with the way it turned out.
I found the pattern for this scarf at www.lionbrand.com.
It’s an easy pattern but I made a few adjustments.
I added four stitches to widen the border. I also wanted to try knitting a scarf with pockets, so I added a pocket at each end. I did not follow instruction for the length. Instead I measured it on myself as I came towards the end.
I do recommend that you mark your project each time you start a new repetition of the pattern. It makes it easier to count the rows when you forget where to continue the pattern.
